In March 2007, the seed was planted to consider formation of a state chapter of the National Rural Health Association. After a number of meetings, numerous phone calls, emails, and finally an organizational meeting in January, 2008 a chapter was created. Anyone involved in rural health interests and issues is welcome to attend the March 26 meeting.
Joining us from National Rural Health Association will be George Miller, NRHA Past-President and Brock Slabach, Senior Vice-President for Member Services who will share a national perspective and outlook.
At this event, we will share the ideas on mission, vision, and goals for the state chapter. An opportunity will be made available for you and/or your organization to join us as we move forward on this new and exciting venture. A list of Interim Board members and additional documents developed so far are available at www.ndrha.org.
