Committees

The North Dakota Rural Health Association has four committees:

Policy Committee

The Policy Committee develops and presents policy recommendations that address issues to our Board of Directors and advocates the legislative interests our Board brings forward.

Annual Conference Committee

The chairperson of our Annual Conference Committee is a member of the planning committee for our annual conference, the Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health. The Dakota Conference planning committee is a collaborative effort between Altru Health System, the North Dakota Public Health Association, the University of North Dakota (UND) College of Nursing, the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) Center for Rural Health, and the UND SMHS Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee seeks sources of support for the work of the Association, assist in the preparation of the annual budget, and generally assist the Treasurer.

The Communication and Membership Committee promotes the Association and markets the Association to current and potential members.
